Terms & Conditions

Requirements

  1. Photographic identification must be provided on the day of your course – this can be a photo-card driving licence, digital tachograph card or Driver Qualification Card (DQC). Passports can only be accepted when presented with accompanying identification which details your driving licence number.
  2. It is important that adequate provision is made to ensure that drivers attending are able to comply with rest requirements relating to drivers’ hours regulations.

 

Cancellation

  1. Any cancellations within 5 days of your course or non-attendance will result in your fee being forfeited.
  2. You will be unable to complete the course if you fail to produce photographic identification. Reasonable time will be afforded to allow you to return home to collect.
  3. Outwith reasonable parameters, latecomers will be denied entry and any course fees will be forfeited.
  4. Refunds are offered to any person unable to attend a course where reasonable notice has been given. Alternatively, payment can be held on account and transferred to another course of your choosing.

 

Changes

  1. Substitution of course delegates will be accepted at no extra cost.
  2. Any variations to the booking, course date, time, etc. made by GRT will be notified to you. We will make every effort to ensure the original arrangements are maintained.

 

Health & Safety

  1. All attendees must comply with our safety policy and our legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and any other relevant provisions.
  2. Any delegate attending our premises, including vehicles, are required to adhere to notices or instructions provided by our staff. We cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings or vehicles left on our premises.

 

Parking Arrangements

  1. Our premises at Maxim Office Park are subject to parking restrictions enforced by UKPC.
  2. Please do not park in any bay marked by a coloured line as a permit is required.
  3. Similarly, please refrain from parking in bays marked ‘Visitor’.
  4. Delegates can park in any unassigned bay or can park without restriction in the Maxim 2 car park.
  5. GRT accepts no responsibility for any fines incurred from parking in restricted bays.

 

Miscellaneous

  1. All incidents and actions, including any money refunds, are dealt with promptly and fairly.
  2. We abide by the Data Protection Act 1998 in all forms of business including electronically-held information (registration number – ZA079764).
